             This video was created from the Advanced Team Communication Simulations which is part of the Interprofessional Simulation program with nursing and medical students. This simulation includes senior nursing students from a BSN program and 4th year ER clerkship medical students. This experience includes a team building exercise prior to students rotate through 3 simulations. This particular video is of the 3rd rotation which is a case revolving around sepsis and dealing with a difficult/challenging team member. While I helped develop the entire experience including the other simulations, this scenario was my direct responsibility for development and implementation.  All learners and facilitators have completed appropriate confidentially and video releases.

            The learners have previously been pre-briefed prior to entering this simulation. As the video begins, I am functioning as the ESP (Embedded Simulation Person) giving the case stem to the nursing students and introducing them to the patient. The video shows me as the ESP facilitating learner needs and guiding the case progression. The second half of the video shows me leading the debriefing with a physician co-debriefer. I did received feedback on this simulation and debriefing and will continue to improve my sklls as a simulation expert.
